Hi, welcome. I'm Jen ~ a mindfulness meditation teacher, embodiment coach, & holistic personal trainer.​​

​After spending a decade of my career in various facets of the fitness industry, I started to question whether it was the right space for me. As I began healing more deeply in my own life, I realized how many harmful behaviours I'd learned from the exact industry I was teaching in... Obsessing over food choices and pushing through workouts that drain us; fixating on physical appearance at the cost of a happy and well nourished life.

It's become clear that I am not alone in this experience. Research around body image and dieting shows us that mainstream fitness practices often leave us with higher levels of anxiety, greater body dissatisfaction, lower self-esteem, and can lead to a variety of physical health consequences. Spiritually, we remain searching, striving, and disconnected from our bodies and wholeness.

My search for more depth in my life and career led me to a 6 year deep dive into the inquiry of living in the present moment, a year living abroad in Latin Americaand eventually to a 2-year formal education in Mindfulness Meditation. 

​

My work now brings together my experiences around food, movement, and fitness with mindfulness, healing, and the ongoing art of living a liberated, embodied human life. 

 

For now, I am letting go of needing an industry to call home. My path has led me into many unknown places, and so perhaps that is just what I can offer you... to explore what might feel like familiar territory with a fresh and authentic take.

 

Home is, after all, always just right here.​​​​​

a heart-led, somatic approach

Mindfulness is woven into every aspect of my work. As our awareness grows and our heart grows with it, old patterns can begin to shift with more ease. We open into more freedom, joy, and possibility in our lives. Awareness does not end with the mind & heart, it fully includes the body; we are becoming more embodied by tuning into our senses and the needs & delights of our physical form.

My approach will nudge you and guide you towards this deeper connection with yourself and your body. You will begin to trust your soma and feel more at home in your skin.

The relationship

When we enter into work together...

I am sharing with you what I have learned thus far in my human journey, specifically the bits that appear relevant to your own path. What a thing! We are here together at the same time with similar challenges and curiosities. 

 

We are inherently equals, stewards of the same divine light.

 

My fundamental objective is to help you gain a more clear connection to your own divine pulse from which your personal power and true autonomy can arise.

​

~ While the core is quite profound, the content of our work will often be delightfully ordinary.

​

I will teach you what I know,

And at the same time I am committed to going beyond what I know, to enter into the unknown of just this with you, and to see what comes of it. 

 

In the dance of this relating I will inherently learn from you, too. Neither of us has to try to teach or learn in any contrived way, but to simply enter into this work wholeheartedly moment to moment.
