Peace is right here.

We are distracted.

Going going going...at such a fast pace.

Not enough time for the outbreath.

Not enough time to really unwind, to let go of the stress we carry...

Just living in this modern society... there is so much stimulation.

Its not all bad. Its exciting, this world we live in.

But all of this going going going,

piling on of things to do, problems to solve, places to go, people to become...

We miss something essential.

We miss something just below it all.

And its quite ordinary...

Its essential, and its ordinary,

and its home.

An antidote for our times.

What to expect

Practice of Presence invites you to explore and live from a place of peace and groundedness within yourself no matter the waters you are navigating.

Each session follows a familiar flow:

We will begin by landing in the space, connecting with ourselves and each other. I will offer a short lesson to engage with then guide a practice of meditation.

Most sessions will include live guitar and singing/humming as a way to explore themes of peace and presence and bring balance to the nervous system and body. You do not have to sing and can simply savor.

Bring your journal if you like to jot down insights and takeaways. This is your time to connect deeply with yourself in a relaxed and shared space.

And I mean this wholeheartedly: come and be exactly as you are without any expectations. It is in this arriving where we find nourishment, not in showing up in any particular state.

From your Guide

Hi, I'm Jen, a Philly native, mindfulness meditation teacher and holistic health guide. I have been formally studying Mindfulness Meditation for 3+ years, and informally in my own experience for 7+ years.

Mindfulness Meditation is about arriving more fully in the present moment and deepening our capacity to be with what's already here. All the joy and sorrow and every magically mundane moment in between. It is not about achieving some far-off state but waking up into our human lives, exactly as they are.

My specific style of guided meditation is heart-centered and grounded in the body. We are so often prioritizing our intellect in the everyday human sphere, so meditation is a moment to pause and simply reconnect to these other innate centers of intelligence: our body and our heart.

As we integrate more heart and body into our lives, we are operating from more of our wholeness, and human life begins to feel more balanced, at ease, sensational, and alive.

Come join me for a session to see how it feels. If you have any questions at all, please reach out.

xoxo,

Jen
